Size guide

Sizes are given by garment length, so measure your child from shoulder to the point you want the dress to fall and match it against this list:

• 0–6 months — 12 inches
• 6–12 months — 14 inches
• 12–18 months — 16 inches
• 18–24 months — 18 inches
• 24–30 months — 20 inches
• 30–36 months — 22 inches

If your child is between sizes, take the larger one — these are worn loose.

When it is worn

Most commonly on Krishna Jayanthi, when small children are dressed as Krishna and the footprints are drawn at the entrance of the house. It is also worn for school fancy dress and for family functions and photographs.

Questions

How do I pick the right size?
Go by the garment length list above rather than by your child's age alone, since children of the same age vary a lot. When in doubt, size up.

What is included in the pack?
The dress itself. Accessories such as the flute, peacock feather and jewellery are sold separately unless shown in the product images.

How should I wash it?
Hand wash cold and dry in shade. Do not machine wash or wring, as the trims and prints will not survive it.

When should I order for Krishna Jayanthi?
Two to three weeks before. This is the busiest week of the year for this item and courier volumes are heavy.

Is Cash on Delivery available?
Yes, anywhere in India.
