Navagraha Samithu

Navagraha samithu is the set of nine woods offered in a navagraha homam, one for each of the nine grahas. Each graha has its own prescribed wood, which is why the set is supplied together rather than as a single timber.

What you receive

• 1 x navagraha samithu set
• Contains 9 mooligai items with 9 sticks
• Material: natural sticks
• Weight: 100g, 500g or 1kg, as selected
• Colour: multi

How it is used

Offered during navagraha homam, with the priest directing the sequence and the mantras for each graha. The exact woods and the order differ by sampradaya and by the priest conducting the ritual — confirm the requirement with your priest before ordering, particularly if the homam is being done for a specific graha rather than all nine.

About the material

These are natural woods and herbs. Colour, thickness and appearance vary by season and batch. Quantities are supplied by weight.

Questions

Which weight do I need?
It depends on the scale of the homam and how many aahutis are planned. Ask your priest — 100g suits a small home homam, and the larger packs are for temple-scale rituals.

Are all nine woods included?
Yes, nine items with nine sticks. If your priest requires a specific additional wood, source that separately.

Do I need anything else?
Yes — samithu is one part of the samagri. Poornathi, ghee and other items are separate.

How should I store it?
Dry, sealed, away from damp. Natural wood takes up moisture and will not burn cleanly if it does.

Is Cash on Delivery available?
Yes, anywhere in India.
